A Wild Child Called “Spicy Bean” Grows From A Rescued Kitten With The Umbilical Cord Attached.

Cats are said to have nine lives, but I have never been sure if that is really true. We don’t always understand how fate comes into play for these folks. Even though she weighed only 3.4 ounces, this teeny kitten found herself wandering along a busy road without a mama in sight. Yet, Xena had a hero who not only helped bring her to safety but was also a little fighter. 

When Hunter and his grandpa were walking near their home together, they noticed what they thought was an odd rock in the middle of the road. When they looked closer, it became apparent that this was not a rock but a tiny kitten in desperate need of assistance. A kitten so tiny that its umbilical cord was still attached to its body, Hunter immediately acted to save her. Autumn–his friend’s mother–accomplished this by taking in the kitten every two hours until Hunter was able to feed her every two hours. Hunter is not only an animal hero, and he has a big heart, too!

 

Autumn knew she had a slim chance of surviving. Even so, she did not stop giving this kitten the essentials for survival. She did manage to survive! 

Xena Has A Feisty Personality!

 

Her determination and feistiness had persisted ever since when she was found. Perhaps that is why she survived. Nine weeks old and 2 pounds, she terrorizes the house with sharp claws and a fiery attitude. Bite, hiss, then heaves a huge, loud purr. This cat will definitely never be easy.
