The effortless charm of cats is the reason they’re all cool. Some cats, however, have wonderful fur and piercing eyes that make them all that and a bag of chips. It’s clear we’re all cat lovers here, but I’m an animal lover as well. And guess what else is insanely cute? A fox! Think of […]
The effortless charm of cats is the reason they’re all cool. Some cats, however, have wonderful fur and piercing eyes that make them all that and a bag of chips. It’s clear we’re all cat lovers here, but I’m an animal lover as well. And guess what else is insanely cute? A fox! Think of a cat that looks a bit like a fox. Also, a sly fox persona and a reddish-orange coat are all part of his signature. Here’s Errol, the Somali cat who looks almost like a fox in real life!
There was seriously no end to Errol’s cuteness as a kitten! The two-year-old will turn two next month in April 2020, for those of you who are curious. The name of his character comes from Terry Pratchett’s Guards! Guards! Series of books. There’s a dragon named Errol that’s tiny but explosive. He seems perfect for it!
In addition, he is constantly channeling his inner fox for the camera since he looks so much like a cat fox.
The famous Xafi & Auri Russian Blue cats with matching eyes are Errol’s cat sisters from other misters, too!
Also, Errol enjoys his close-ups. The super close-up kind!
Somali cats are essentially longhaired versions of the Abyssinian cat, and recessive genes cause long hair on cats of this breed, which gives the breed a fox-like appearance. Likewise, Somali cats come in a variety of colors, just as they do in Abyssinia.
